Bethel Choir Rush Week

The Bethel Choir invites singers who want to make a joyful noise to join us during choir rush week on Sunday, September 26 or Thursday, September 30 to sing with the choir and learn more about becoming a member. And you get to wear cool robes with your Bethel Choir sisters and brothers.

The Bethel Choir has a repertoire of sacred classical music and they sing at the 9:15 am. traditional service. A few times during the year, they present special offerings of larger works, usually in conjunction with All Saints Day, Christmas, or Easter. These efforts are supported by gifts from the Bethel Endowment Foundation, which provides an orchestra and music for the choir. The Bethel Choir also appears on Bethel's weekly television broadcast, an outreach media ministry to shut-ins and TV viewers around the state of Wisconsin. The Bethel Choir has sung in Europe as well as in the Washington Cathedral, Montreal and Toronto.

70 singers are now in the Bethel Choir.

The Women's Choir has a primarily classical repertoire but they venture into other styles occasionally. This is a unique and wonderful fellowship of women who bring as much enjoyment to others as they experience themselves in singing. One Sunday each month this choir sings at the 7:55 am. service. The Women's Choir totals 25 singers at present.

The Creative Worship Singers is a choir of men and women who have a more contemporary sound and repertoire. They sing for the 10:45 am. service twice a month. This choir has 36 members currently.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the Choir Room

The Victory Choir is for Senior Adults who are retired and can come out in the morning. Their mission is to sing at Nursing Homes once a month and to take a word of encouragement along with them. They do a short program of old favorite hymns and also old favorite songs that bring back wonderful memories for their audiences. 25 singers sing in this ministry.

The Vigil Choir meets four weeks prior to Easter on Saturday morning to sing for the traditional Easter Vigil Service.
