How do I join Bethel?

Our most recent New Member Class was held on April 6, 2013. The next new member class will be held in Fall 2013. Classes are held from 8:45 am to 1:30 pm with lunch at noon.

 

The next New Member Sunday will be held on April 28, 2013 at the 9:00 am worship service.

Sandy will give you our New Member Orientation schedule, and will supply you with our weekly newsletter, Bethelite. In it, you will find an activities and program schedule.

What is involved in the New Member Orientation?

It's a one-day session (about 4 hours) in which we tell of Bethel's history and mission, explain who we are as Lutheran Christians, review the many ways new members can become involved in the life of our church, introduce visitors to Bethel's pastoral and other staff, tour our church facility, and enjoy a great meal together. We then ask all who are interested in becoming members to complete paperwork prior to New Member Sunday.

What is New Member Sunday?

It's our special day of celebration for those individuals and families who have chosen to fellowship with us as members (about 4 weeks after Orientation). Besides welcoming new members during the service, we have a reception afterwards, so that members and friends may also greet them.
